Thanks for that post Roger. I've had my eye on building a clinker sailboat for a while now. Judging from the number of plans he has through Wooden Boat Iain Oughtred has been a favorite son over there for quite some time. That Caledonia Yawl does look like fun; a little big for my needs.

It seems John Brooks is another rising star at WB. His Ellen design was featured in two issues last year and they're publishing his book this Spring. I've pretty much made up my mind to build an Ellen once the book comes out. It's a car topper but I'll be able to squeeze a kid or two in it.
