: hold the strip down. Strapping tape is just about as easy as staples. You

bungie cords work great! just drop a short piece of 1/4" dowel into the cove where the bungie cord crosses from outside to inside. one end of the cord is clamped to the shear strip. the tag end is clamped to a station form at whatever angle is required to hold the strip till the glue sets up.
