Hey Rehd,
!Ruhss Here. About those cookies you sent me to share at R2K East ....

Well, we feel deeply guilty and kind a bloated at the moment.....Well Rehd, Do ya remember how you were kind enough to ship them east, and then that whole nasty event that messed everything up and kept your cookies from actually making the east Coast R2K..... Cause like terrorists hijacked them.....And then like no one saw them for like a really long time..... And the looming question is who ate dem cookies? Inquiring minds wanna know....?

Well, Rehd our sources have found out it was indeed a conspiracy full of international intrigue.... East coast boat building ner do wells connected to west coast boat builder under world figures who reportedly tried to kidnap the king while Joe Was getting a back massage and plied with Mexican food. all coinsided in a dastardly scheme to hijack the cookies.

Well, by mean not yet certian, while I was out, they got put in the freezer in my shop..........And err well they The cookies disappeared for a long time..... With no answers....The simple truth is the Rehdwood cookies never made it to the East coast rendezvous to be served to hundreds of your east coast boat building buds.

Well, Rehd the cookies have surfaced.....and did get eaten.... We recently started into the annual shop cleanup of R&R boat works. We had a miserable task of cleaning up the shop. I mean the big annual sawdust extravaganza. The one were ya find all the tools you have been missing for a very long time.

Well, in all that clean up we found that the terrorists coming in from the cold stashed the cookies right next to a road killed moose and a fisher cat in the shop freezer. Did I mention it was a miserable job cleaning the shop and finding those cookies of international intrigue was a bright moment and well it was such a terrible job.....and ah you know....

We knew we had found the answer to a this international two coast incident. What should we do?.....Mail them back...... Naw!! Mail 2 cookies to everyone on the BBS... Too expensive and two impractical.

Well, I know you build boats in your dining room so we decided it would be better for us to try eating in our shop. The Road kill moose would wait... Rick has his doubts about Fricasseed Fisher Cat but solving the mystery of Rehdwood's coookies prove to be to inviting..... The answer was simple, but we felt guilty. We swilled milk with abandon as we put tools away and dribbled cookie crumbs all over our boats. In the end we decided honesty was the best policy. And in all honesty they were delicious. So delicious in fact we ate both tins in about 2 hours.

Now we want all of you fellow eat coaster to know that we did this so Rehd's cookies and secret ingredients would not fall into the hands of the bad guys. And just like Max well smart we had to eat the evidence. We had just about gotten away Scot free when a woman known to us a "yes dear" snapped a picture. Thus our heroic efforts to try and save your cookies from harm were caught on film. Since that moment we have been black mailed into all sorts of horrible stuff like shoveling off the roof, hauling fire wood and cleaning rooms that are out side of the shop domain....

Its become intolerable to have to live a life under threat of black mail. So we have decided to come clean. Still, we hide our faces in shame as we admit that we ate the whole box with several cookie tins full of fantastic better then famous Amos yummies. as we cleaned up our mess. ANd really Rick suggested that these cookies were probobly good for Russ's lungs so it would be a better to have jsut one more. I of course was not goingto eat one of them until next year's R2K but Ricks logic proved persuassive.

Yes, that's right all in one sitting.

We can only hope that by next year you'll have come around to the idea that our digestion of your secret recipe was indeed nothing short of an act performed in the national interest. But we also are aware that our wives may never come around to said same view.

In the end, all we can say is that we now know how the cookie crumbled,.... and then dissolves and melts in our mouths......Hey Rick pass the milk would ya!
