: A quick search developed up 2 possible suspects -
: 3M 8663 Polyurethane Tape
: http://cms.3m.com/cms/ES/es/0-165/iiikzFP/view.jhtml
: and Surlyn Tape at McMaster-Carr (scroll down a ways)
I used the 3M products The 8600 series should be ok it comes in various thicknesses finishes and adheasives, acrylic is the right adheasive. The Surlyn tape looks like the same stuff? ? and it costs less. I never heard of it before.
Did you try an automotive paint store? Although, I am sure It costs more in the small automotive packages and the lenghts may be too shortto do the entire keel line. If you try the Surlyn tape let us know how it works.
