Went to Radio Shack on my lunch break today and bought a glue gun for $2.50 !!! I didn't know they were so cheap. Bought three packages (20 sticks each) of glue sticks as well all for below $10.00

: The epoxy shouldn't have stuck to the hard plastic enough to peel your
: plywood off. If you use the plastic again, try removing it sooner, before
: the epoxy has cured. I wonder if the plastic had some scratches, and you
: got a mechanical bond. Back to wax paper or kitchen wrap, eh?

: The hot glue will temporarily hold your forms to your hull while you stich
: and glue your boat. Read through the directions for your Pygmy several
: times and you'll understand the sequences of your project. Indeed, it
: helps to read through each step and a few steps in front so that you can
: anticipate your materiel and time needs, as well as understand what you're
: being asked to do.

: Don't hesitate to give Pygmy a call, either. They have some very competent
: people answering questions -- all have built Pygmies of their own, and I
: think most Pygmy kit builders have had pretty good advice from the
: Pygmies. They're even open on Saturday, when you get deep into a
: construction issue and there's nobody on the Bulletin Board to answer you
: emergency question.

: Follow Pygmy's instructions on how much hot glue to use -- it can be a bit of
: a hassle to get the forms out of the boat if you've really laid on the hot
