I like the way you think. I have a stanley 66 which I found for 12.00 at an antique shop. Havent used it yet, since I usually rely on the stanley 45 for beads and such. I am realllly interested to hear your comments on that clifton #4 to see if exceeds Nelson or maybe the original Bedrock. I have the corrugated #4 bedrock and used it to fair the kayak....I also used another 9 or so planes on the boat just for fun and in an attempt to justify the planes and my existance to the wife. Keep me posted on the clifton.
