I'm at the point where I'm sanding the deck in preparation for varnish but the last two coats of epoxy went on with a mottled orange peel texture.The instructions advise sanding till all epoxy is cloudy with no bright spots or low spots left unsanded which makes sense but I have hundreds of bright spots showing after a fair bit of sanding.I know the answer is keep sanding till they are gone which I will do but I'm sure no matter how much more work I do there will be a few bright spots left.My question is what is the downside to varnishing over these bright spots
1:Will they show after varnishing(I doubt it)
2: Will there be poor adhesion to these unsanded low spots.
3:Or will the low spots continue as low spots in the varnish which will gradually disappear or fill in after 6 or 7 coats of varnish?
I'm sure some of you have been through this at least once so your insights would be gratefully appreciated.
