: You can add cross beams to the underside that are the correct curvature to
: match your deck.
: I would grab a piece of 1 x 2, 1/2 x 2, or some such that you have laying
: around, cut it slightly shorter than the width of your hatch opening and
: mark the curve of the deck onto it. Cut the curve in it and coat it with
: epoxy then glue it to your hatch lid, forcing the lid to match the correct
: curve.
: It all sounds easier than it actually is. Matching the curve and then keeping
: the hatch bent while the epoxy dries is a little tricky but doable. I've
: had to do this on one of my 2 boats.
: Good luck!

I have a similar problem on my S&G. I cut out the hatches before joining the halves. The deck had to be stretched to fit the hull,in doing so the deck changed shape enough that the lids fit poorly.
I have cut the lids down the center and each half in 2" strips. I glued those stips together in place on the deck. The lids now fit very well. I will put another layer of glass over the lids and I think all will be fine.
My other option was to use cedar strips to make a new hatch. Heck, I might even do that just to have a spare pair!!Does that count as a hybrid with only strip hatches??
Good luck with your fix, Terry
