Rich,
I built my North Star last winter in the garage where the temps probably hit zero to below on some nights. I left the door open to the garage and used the wood stove heat from the family room to warm it up some while working but as soon as the door was closed the temp would drop quick. The only problem I had was a white chalk look in some of the joints after the glue dried but the glue joint itself seemed strong. I was using Tite Bond II for the hull. To get rid of these white lines I took the wifes' spare iron and ran it along the joint heating it which reactivated the glue enough to make the white line disappear. I do keep my glue inside though, to keep it from freezing. I'm currently seeing the same with the Shooting Star I'm building for the wife. Here's a picture of the white residue I saw when I was building the North Star. These were more smears from my fingers but after sanding I could see the white lines in a few but not all joints in the hull.
