Went to the hardware store to purchase items 'not included in the kit' and ended up spending $100.00 ! Also purchased a Sandvik Scraper (after abandoning my wild idea of using a power hand planer) for $17.00 and a 100x100cm sheet of fiberglass (for edge reinforcements) for $10.00. Tried to get 2" C-Clamps but apparently everyone in my town is building a wherry or something because the Home Depot had only 1! C-Clamp. Went to Woodworker's Warehouse. They too had only 1 C-Clamp! I might go crazy and buy the quick grip clamps ($4.00 each/I need 10). There is also an option of using a PVC pipe to make clamps but I don't like the idea very much.

Today was the time to syringe seams with epoxy. The manual says: Avoid gooping epoxy on the wire holes - it makes it harder to remove them later. These wires are like magnets for my shaky hands. I'm sure I sealed some of them :-) I had sections of seams that had wider holes that would not seal with the epoxy so after I sealed all of the interior boat I mixed some wood flour into the rest of it and used it to plug some gaps in the boat. I poured paint thinner into the syringe to clean it. I don't know whether paint thinner works on cleaning epoxy. To make sure I left the syringe full of paint thinner over night. I did not have any paper towels to clean the epoxy runs yet I hape plenty of rags to use (and used them).

I have to leave the boat harden overnight and then flip it upside down to seal the seams from the outside.
