In my opinion the feature that makes the Sealine braces worth the extra money is the fact that you will be able to adjust them while you are in the boat. the adjusting rod/lever is right at your thigh and you are able to adjust the braces with out getting out of the boat. If you are the only person using the kayak then it may not be worth the extra money but if you will need to adjust the braces often to let friends and family use your kayak the SealLine Braces are worth the extra money.
