Lee Moyer of Pacific Water Sports uses one anchor, 2 cletes, one jam clete and a non-stretch line; very solid, reliable and quick. Paddle shaft is laid across the deck, rope tossed over shaft and the 2 cletes, cinch tight in jam clete. You can see the arrangement in a lot of his sales pictures. I modified it just slightly on my Coho.
