I have had to force an S&G hull back into alignment and hold it in position before glassing it. Force was required, but the hull straightened out and remained straight after the epoxy was applied.

Forcing your hull back into line may also be done with the right amount of force applied. I like Chips idea of wetting down the area to be moved so the glue becomes flexible. It may be you could straighten out the strongback and use it when the glue has softened up. You may or may not have to remove it in order to straighten it out. Or, maybe by removing and straitening only the suspect portion of the strongback it could be reused to force the hull back into place while the glue is pliable.

A hull is somewhat flexible before it is epoxied. You may be able to straighten out the deck in a similar manner.

Boat building poses many problems, I think that is a major contributor to the allure of it.
