: Is there a glue that works OK in cold temperatures, but still has a
: reasonable working time?
I have been using Elmer's Carpenters Glue in my garage where the temps have been from 20-40 degrees since I started my kayak about a month ago. So far there have been no problems. I keep the glue in the house until I am ready to glue a strip.
I had some worries about this also and asked a similiar question about a week ago. The thread is still available if you want to see some other opinions.
I also used some epoxy glue for the external stems and it has set up in the normal time frame. It was System Three which claims to have a pretty broad temperature range. Seems to be true.
