I got an error trying to read the page, but Pauls response makes a lot of sense.
Polyurethane glue also works great on paddles. It's easy to use, no mixing and waterproof. Titebond makes a good one, in the black bottle. System Three also has a good one. Gorilla is a little more expensive, but also good. Just my opinion, I dont care too much for the Elmers version, it doesnt foam the same.
The stuff likes good tight clamp pressures, and it cleans with isopropyl alcohol. Use gloves though, it doesnt come off of skin. And buy small bottles, it has a limited shelf life once opened. Squeeze the bottle before you buy it - if it crunches, pick a different one.
I have actually broken one paddle with it, I think that was titebond. The glue is stronger than the surrounding wood.
