Reminds me that Old Captain Hazelwood eventually got OFF on ALL CHARGES BECAUSE HE HAD CALLED THE COAST GUARD TO REPORT THAT HE HAD RUN AGROUND!!!. His attorney argued that the law that "protected" ANYONE who "reported" an "oil leak" in open waters was protection from ANY prosecution (the law didn't mention any difference if they CAUSED IT OR NOT !!! Ha, Ha, Just shows how much you can F&^^**)) things up and somehow everything's FINE!!! But it does work out that way sometimes, like Where he spilled all the oil (Prince Edward Sound) is CLEAN now and even if you look it is hard to find traces of any oil there now (thank God). If you had listned to the "environmentalist experts" at the time you would have thought it was ruined FOREVER, but it has been "only" 12 years or so and the earth has repaired itself even with all that OIL MESS EVERYWHERE.
