In Response To: S&G: WGW Construction Day 12 (High Drama) (rb)
Me again
: underneath the cloth in places where seams formed a 'valley'.
Prior to sheathing I spent alot of time filling those little seam valleys with woodflour thickened epoxy, letting it set. sanding it. Then filling in the ramaining little holes with more thickened epoxy ... I spent quite a bit of time doing this. When it was looking good I rounded all the seams with a long fairing board (you can sand a wave into a good seam/chine easy as pie if you are not carefull. Long smooth sanding strokes are required here). Then I glassed.
Hope this helps.
Pete
