Your rehab questions are beyond me but I can introduce you to local builders of Stitch and Glue ply boats, Guillemot strippers and others. There are some Aust designs you can consider. I am a member of the WA Sea Kayak Club. There is also a very active Kayak club in the Mandurah area.
