Pete,
Its moot now because the 'poxy is curing but...

I just finished laying up the outside of a strip-biult Putz Walrus hull. Two layers, 3.75oz std weave. The first layer is on the diagonal ( bias) and the top layer is parallel. The seams are quite a ways off each other, 12-14" at least. How does having a seam in the cloth affect the overall strength? When I did them, the frays of each pc overlapped into the frays of the other, there's about 1/4" of little or no weave- kinda like chop in there. Was that a serious mistake? Does the strength start to drop off close to the edge of the weave?
