Hi-
I've been helping a friend with a CLC Mill Creek 16.5. He decided he wanted to stain the deck, and contacted CLC for their recomendations. They advised him to use a water-based stain, and he purchased some Minwipe English Oak Stain. We applied it sccording to directions, but when we epoxied over it we got a wonderful case of Fish Eyes. Orange Peel, etc.
Just wondering if subsequent coats of epoxy will show this trend or will they just fill in the low areas and we can expect a normal surface eventually.
When I did my West River 180 a few years ago, had a lot of problems with fisheyes with the MAS. Never had it with RAKA though...
Thanks in advance for any help-
