Hello,

In Nicks book he talked of using two shear strips, one on the hull and one on the deck. Each of these has just a cove routed to one side and a bevel on the other, these two are then aligned when the two halves are finished.

Would it not be possable to use one shear strip with a cove routed on both sides ? This would make the final aligning and glassing of the seam easier in my mind.

I am sure others have thought of this before, so I am interested in other peoples opinions ?
