I go for stealth put-ins. The state parks are $4, and more likely to be full of gawkers. I pull over next to the highway, unstrap and go, go go!! ;)

Dale Frolander pointed that out, and you can't believe him anyway. ;) The bonus of launching next to Dale, though, is that his boat is much shinier and he gets more questions!!
