Their new deck recess is a must-have. The peaked rear coaming on the originals didn't do it for me.

Knee braces are a must-have. There's no knee grip on a slick, peaked deck.

Like Lee said, the Thermarest pad doesn't do it for most people. Carve a custom seat from 3" minicell, or build a wedge-shaped base for your Thermarest out of 2" minicell.

What makes you lean toward the Osprey vs. the Coho or Tern? They're all very seaworthy boats, and from what I've heard, they have good kits and instructions.
