When I was actively into artistic endeavors, I learned that the best thing you can do when you are not quite satisfied, but you ddon't really know why is to stop, take a couple weeks' break, and keep the kayak where you will see it often. You'll be surprised how much your thoughts come into focus. You'll either start to like it, or you'll realize why you don't.
