WOW I gues I went to school in the wrong time!

When I was kid going though school educators saw kids as uniform milk bottles to be filled with knowlege and capped. Those of us who dooddled and designed and led with our own gifts.....well we were crazy, lazy or nuts! Now the guy who spent his youth building boats, crawling in caves, playing with ropes or working on ships....he was excentric. I finally took my social studies from the bow of a ship! and my math at a nav station. Stepped out of the box and never looked back. Schools didn't have many places for ya if you weren't a milk bottle.

Greg, looking at that class of smiling invested interested faces. I didn't see folks who had been treated like empty milk bottles. More like plants that had been nurtured. Artists who are alllowed to think like artists, daisies who will be daisies, engineers who will be engineers. I saw young men and women who had been recognized as individuals and been treated to the gift of having their sense of wonder affirmed and fed rather then stomped on.

Greg, the hull looks fair, the joinry is good and.... I don't care if she ever floats. What you are launching 27 at a time is far more important. There are teachers and there are educators. You obviously the later. I admire your Commitment.
