: First reactions: Looks like the Campbell unit - almost identical.
Can you say "Patent Infringement"?
: Has 15 feet of air hose - reminds me of a hospital ventilator hose.
Head on down to the Intensive Care unit in you local hospital and try it out! The only problem I see is that it will put the air into the patient quite efficiently but exhale will be a bit of a challenge.
: Paint gun top is OK - bottom "can" is quart size but looks like it
was made from blow-mold plastic.
Obviously you have something against blow molding!
: Being of plastic makes me wonder how it will hold up to solvents
Yeah, the "PAINT" solvents will probably eat right through the "PAINT CUP" and end up on your Nikes!! Well, you did save $110.00 so they had to cut corners somewhere!!
: Wife didn't appreciate me plugging it in to hear sound at 11:30 PM at night
Should have asked her BEFORE you married her. Perhaps she has a sister who wouldn't mind the noise.
: Sounds like a Shop Vac - kinda on the noisy side - will wear ear muffs
: (protectors) when using in confined spaces or small rooms.
Maybe you got a real good deal and this baby will vacuum the living room carpets and car seats!
: Easy to disassemble to clean.
SURE!!! But just try to re-assemble it!!!
: Comes with small wrench and a viscosity cup
Use the wrench to prop open doors and if you plug the hole in the viscosity cup you can use it as a shot glass while waiting between coats. Properly thinned Rum should be 5 seconds in a M5 viscosity cup.
: Oh - it's only a one speed fan. Now, if I
: take my gas weed blower, and with a little bit of finesse, I should be
: able to ......! Better call Tim Allen first !
Then it will be like painting with a firehose!! That might be interesting for painting the town red!!
Sorry, couldn't resist. LOL!
