Hi Patsy, glad it was helpful. I'm not a fiberglass guru but here's what I think.

I haven't tried the grooved roller. Everyone's experience is different but, on my boat/my glass, the squeegee took away the bulk of the waste resin lickety split. The grooved roller might be good on the second or third pass.

B) Exposing the cloth. The fabric starts to get "starved" (too dry) and doesn't go completely clear. I have a few small areas on my boat; they're hard to spot but they look like groups of tiny white pimples.

So, all you have to do now is GET BUILDING!
