: the miterbox was a piece of scrap cherry 5/4 board about 2 inches wide. I
: dadoed roughly 3/4 inches deep and then to the thickness of the strips.
: The walnut strips were standard 3/4inch but the pine triangles were 1
: 1/4" so two boxes were needed. Then i just took a 30/60/90 triangle
: and drew a reference line accross the box and cut with a dovetail saw.
: To make the pieces the right size consistantly i fisrt expierimented until i
: had the right sise then would put that piece in the box and drive a nail
: at rhe end to seve as a stop.
