I removed all temporary forms from the boat. I think that I used too much hot glue on it. It was a treat to remove it all from the boat.
My wife helped me to carry the boat outside. This is the first time she remarked that the boat is a pain in the neck ;-) We put the boat on the porch and I started sanding the inside. I used palm sander, rotary sander but the best sanding tool I had to sand in between the seams was an empty Arizona Ice Tea bottle with sandpaper wrapped around it.
Then we carried the boat back in the basement. When this boat is done it will barely make it through the door to carry outside.
I started epoxying the inside. I think that my roller is just unnecessarily wide. I'll see if I can find a half size roller and will cut my foam rollers in half for next application.
After I laid the epoxy I noticed that some spots did not soak very well. Those were small spots between the seams. I realize that I sanded the mahagony layer off with my sander in those spots and whatever is the next layer does not behave like wood. It doesn't look really bad but I nevertheless...
