Those slings for the kayak stand in Nick's book found a good use. Today I glued the deck onto the hull. With the exception of the stern and bow up curve it was an excellent fit.

18" in on the stern and bow, there was a 1/4 to 3/8 gap. I used each of the slings with the blocks on the end to wrap and twist the deck and hull together. Worked great. Get a lot more compression force with twisting.
