Now that i think of it, I have an acrylic material that I used for sealing the drain on a bathroom sink. It comes out of the tube in awhite color but is supposed to dry clear (kinda like Elmer's glue?) I'd have to disasemble the sink to see if that claim is true. There are several clear urethane products available, so you might be able to find a clear urethane caulk.
