I am building Rob Macks Shooting Star and included the recess (just because it looks good).I am ready to glass the deck and wonder whether most use one piece of glass at the two joints(upperdeck & recess joint)or is it better to cut and overlapa piece.I am afraid to file down the ~1/32" deck joint for fear of opening some gaps that might be unsightly to fill. Any thoughts from you experienced recess glassers?
