Hopefully just the viewpt and not being really able to assess the c/l of the cockpit form. and all our yaks have flaws. making something is just a succession of compensating for the errors in the last step.

i conjecture that hybrid yaks are the most difficult of all yaks to keep aligned during the bldg process. It would be so easy to distort as each successive strip puts its differential bending into play. you don’t have predefined deck edges(and therefore sheer curvature) like in a total s&g.

So the use of temporary or fixed sheer clamps(for consistent sheer curvature) and some process of readily alignable exterior or interior formsets(for c/l and vertical offsets) might be of use, as well as the winding sticks. At the very least, the winding sticks could be c/l aligned.
