: Maybe including a strongback would help.

Hmm, I really need to make my homepage worth reading.
I'm not sure how I could use an internal strong back...
I found that by screwing my left over strips from the hull plywood on the inside of the forms one each side, and one glued along the inside top, that the stations did not move forward or backwards much. once I had the end pieces up and my shear line strips movement forward and backwards is nill.
The did move up and down as the kayak flexed on the bench, and because the assembly was light. Hence my recomendation that the arches I made, should be closed along the bottom, to help fasten the bottom of the arch to the hull.
(I suspect duct tape, or fiber tape would work).
Anyways you may like to read the 'puking on the keyboard' that I call my diary.
it is way behind where I am now in the process, I'm having way to much fun stripping the boat.

Please excuse grammer, spelling, rambeling, bad links, and bad formating...
I'll be doing a quick update to what is there soon (tonight?), and hopefully have some better suff in a month or so.
enjoy
