Epoxy: Can 2nd layer glass go right on over 1st?

I should know this, but I wonder can you tell me if i can wet out the top layer of glass right over my bottom layer of glass on the hull interior without waiting for cure?

Or, you could wait (years) for it to break 1st

Can 2nd glass go over 1st? yes and you should
