With two layers of glass on the outside, and one on the inside, you should be doing just fine for many years to come. Are you planning on landing on many exposed rocks? Running rapids? Jumping up and down in the cockpit?

Even if any of these actions is in your future, you'll find that the damge caused by any one or two such events should be easy to repair. You can add your next layer of glass as a permanent fix, after you take off the duct tape that would be your emergency patch.
