Heres what I did and it worked out: I cut 2 4" x8' strips out of my 1/2 plywood that I used for the forms. I center 1 along the top of the 2x4 strong back to prevent side to side movement. It was placed evenly in from the ends of the 2x4. Then the 2nd 4" wide strip was placed on the side of the 2x4. This prevented up and down sag. The saw horses for support where spaced just outside of this (8' apart). Of course I had to modify the middle 8 forms, but that is no biggie.

I was very pleased with the results. I still let the strongback with all stations set on the stands for several days before aligning things just to make sure it wasn't going to shift any more. Then once everything was aligned and in place I waited a couple of more days to make sure no sagging or movement.
