Has Anyone Tried Xylene?

Hi there.

I'm just at the point of glassing the hull of yet another Coho, so I found the article very interesting. I can get too fussy, and therefor slow, during the wet-out step, so a thinner has always seemed an attractive aid. The caution, though, was that there was a trade-off for ultimate strength.

As it happens, I have a gallon of xylene in the shop somewhere. While the glass is all smoothed out and getting used to the new shape it's in, I'll do a couple of .5 sq.ft. examples and see what happens overnight. I'll use 10% by volume rather than weight.
