The kayak shown is an Aleutian double made for sea otter hunting in waters that are often rough - a boat for expert paddlers not for relaxed occasional paddling.
At 22" wide it is narrow for a double, I doubt that most people would call it stable, though that is a personal thing.
Everyone likes a speedy kayak, but top speed and cruising speed are two different things. The difference of effort required to maintain a 3.5 knot speed between a 22" wide double vs a 28" wide double of similar hull shape is very slight. The trade-off in stability makes the 28" wide boat the one to go with.
The cockpits are level and rather short , unless you are short and agile they WILL be a serious drawback , I would rake them both and lengthen them to at least 28" inside measurement.
