Hans,

I build a S&G last winter and am currenly building a Stripper. Temps are between 25F and 45F and I used MAS w/slow hardner. As far as bonding - I'm not sure but as far as glassing, I squeegeed epoxy onto the entire surface then used a radient propane heater to warm indivdual sections (about 30 seconds in each area). The epoxy goes to a water consistency, penetrates the glass and wood then any excess runs off. Squeegee any excess off of each section while its warm then go over the entire surface one more time with the heater. Then I made an "oven" out of plastic and scrap strips to bake the boat in over night (70F). This system works extremely well and I would even use it in the summer when its warm. A radient heater with 2 burners (Home Depot or Lowe's) runs for ever on 5 Gallons of propane, is very portable to heat small areas and throws enough heat to warm small shops - no issues with emissions (soot, waxes, oils) either, just stay clear of solvent vapors.
