Hardwood strips with slots work great!!! (see photo in attached link)

I've also used pieces of nylon rope--slip the ends through a small slit in aquare of 'glass. Fray the rope back about 1". Epoxy the frayed rope and glass to the inside of your hull.

: What have any of you used to accomplish this? I was thinking of epoxying a
: stainless steel "D" ring in there somehow, or even a piece of
: hardwood that a nylon strap could slip through.
