Wow Patsy, lots of advice. I'm getting ready to replace my pull saw. I too was a little unhappy with the prices I found. Japan Woodworker has pretty good prices on the pull saws and are pretty competitive in general. The link is www.japanwoodworker.com The printed catalog has more than the Web site. It's worth getting it just as a reminder of what's out there... and believe me some of those tools are Out There.
