Today I started gluing spacers on the inside of the shear line. These spacers will support the invales on the boat. I need exactly 22 spacers on each side. I cut up 44 spacers from supplied mahagony stripe and filed them round with my sander. Then I mixed 3 oz of epoxy with cabosil and glued one side (I don't have more clamps) 22 spacers total. Tomorrow will be the time to glue the other side.

As I look at the boat I see the amount of sanding I will have to do to finish it. I decided I will sand, paint and varnish the entire boat before I glue the seats in. This will help me reach the difficult spots.
