Since you already have a jigsaw, you already know that the blade will typically tilt outward when making a curved cut. This is not necessarily a problem (for the station forms) since unless you intend to bevel the forms, only one edge of the form will be in contact with the strip. Just be careful that you have all the forms turned the right way on the strongback, so that the "correct" edge is the one in contact with the strips.
BTW, having just ripped my strips, on a table saw, I favor that method. But my band-saw is a cheap one, with small table & no fence, so not really a fair comparison in my case, as Brian said. If you go with the table saw, get yourself a good respirator with cartridges for fine dust. Your throat will thank you.
