Ah man now ya got me thinking cajun and its just not happening in this snow drift....

Hey don't sweat the sharks. They are like seeing a wolf in the mts. I do a fair amount of yak surfing in a number of places. IN NC an GA I can't tell ya how many times I've looked down a curl to see a hammer head surfing down the wave looking for a bit of lunch along shore. Going for snapper blues ussually. They kind of look at ya and wink like your the only 2 who know where the fun is. In Maine NJ and MD its the lemon sharks. They hang in the sand and as ya go over them they lift off. Its neat.

At night they look like fireworks shooting off when their sudden movements spark the noktalooka to flourese.

I guess it would be different if I was leaving a blood trail, fishing, but I have paddled plenty and surfed more with the toothy grins many over 13 feet over the years.

Iguess if I was in Great white terratory I might worry a bit more, but most sharks I have encountered at sea don't care. Generally they don't show much interest in the Cedar fishing lure.

Now Gators in a canoe.....had some real excitement there. And the salt crocs at the end of the Chahaskawitzka River prove to be far to interested in boats tipping for my tastes.

Now what I wouldn't do for a good mess of frog legs....where did I put the Lousiana hell fire and old bay gotta be some frozen shrimp round here some where.....
