: Hello there. I am building the Wineglass Wherry. I'm at the point when I
: would like to glue some braces to the areas where the seats will be glued.
: That means gluing a piece of wood about 10 inches down from the shear
: line. How could I clamp that ? I was thinking about cutting two pieces of
: wood from a 2x4 and use them in a tweezer like fashion by clamping the top
: with a clamp to create enough pressure on the other end.
: Any ideas on how to clamp this?
If there will be one/each on either side of the boat, then place them in position, and measure a stick to go between and hold them. If glueing with thickened epoxy, you don't need any more pressure than just to hold them in place and not really clamp them down. ???
