hi Tom;
as John said earlier, use a laminate trimmer. they accept a 1/4" shank router bit, and are more powerful than the dremel but smaller than a regular router. the only reason i didn't use mine is that it's missing it's baseplate. (i got it at a garage sale)
i used a 3/16" straight bit.
