: You don't see that in the Hoh valley very often!!
That's actually an adjacent valley - in late Summer. It was through hike I did with a friend across Anderson Pass. That's Anderson Glacier in the background... We're so high up we might be above the coulds We passed a bunch of Climbers on our way down the other side - that gear looks #%&@ heavy.
: The highlight of the trip for me was seeing a herd
: of 50+ elk crossing the Hoh river at dusk the last day.
Wildlife is definately one of the best parts. I've been out there four times and I've seen Marmots, Owls, Elk herds, Elk bulls, Mountain Goat... my hiking buddy (previous picture) photographed a Black Bear and we've heard Cougar (scariest).
Anyway, have fun in Moab. Let us know how it goes.
