You're a maniac !RUSS! That is going to be one cool ride when you're done with it. I love the idea of adding links back to the original cultures. I built my first boat on what was Native American land just 150 years ago. We spent a lot of time imagining the lay of the land two centuries before in what was then the Suquamish Nation. You probably already know Native American lore is especially romanticized in this part of the country: When the Government offered to purchase two million acres of land from the the Northwest tribes the Suquamish chief (Chief Seattle) reportedly responded by asking "How can you sell the sparkle of the water, the warmth of the land, the freshness of the air?".
There is some controversy about what he actually said and I have some other details wrong but you get the idea. That's fun stuff in my book.
