I paddled one only for a short stretch on flat water,,it maneuvers easily, really should have a big person in it to sink it in the water well, weathercocks a fair amount with wind, a skilled paddler can lean/sweep to correct but if you're under 170 or so and not thinking of a big boat there are smaller displacement boats around.
